Some of my favorite things in the whole wide world are lemon meringue pie, playing Scrabble, anything British, beautiful shoes, perusing the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a full moon, live theater, diamonds, Cirque du Soleil, the metallic clatter of trains, elephants, reading reading reading, museums of all kinds, butterflies, the SPCA, bagpipe music, waterfalls, flying (take-offs especially), classical ballet, children under 4 feet tall, lap cats, European architecture, the K-pop group Seventeen, fudge, antique furniture, parallel parking, haute couture, PBS period dramas, a Gibson martini, and the honking of migrating geese.

Some of my fantasies about illicit activities include tagging a railroad car and pulling a fire alarm.
